The Kersey Community Center is located in the old Kersey State Bank building at 419 1st Street. The Center is open Monday – Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday hours are 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  The Community Center serves as a community focal point where older adults come together for a wide range of services and activities. See the Senior Calendar for organized trips and events. Our purpose is to provide a place for seniors to congregate, socialize, access services and information, participate in activities and volunteer. Our goal is to promote the independent physical, mental and spiritual well being of seniors by empowering rather than enabling.

The Kersey Community Center is operated by the Town of Kersey. We participate in the Weld County Area Agency Nutrition Program as a host site for lunch. Senior nutrition meals are served at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. See the Senior Calendar for the monthly menu. The suggested donation for seniors over the age of 60 is $3.00 per meal. For people under 60 years of age the charge for lunch is $7.25 per person. Reservations for lunch are required the day before by 9:30 a.m. Please contact Tym Lynch, Kersey Senior Coordinator at 970-352-8394 to make a reservation.
